I have a Toshiba L500-13W in which Windoez recognizes a Realtek 8192SE and in Ubuntu (both Jaunty and Karmic beta 32bit) i used the first driver he gave us and it worked and from "lspci" I got "Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 8172 (rev 10)", not "8192 (rev 01)" like you.
