Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

The issue is simple:
Upgrading from Hardy to Karmic didn't remove the file /ect/modprobe.d/lrm-video
belonging to linux-restricted-modules-common
This produced the issue that all nvidia drivers under Karmic were failing to
start.

I do not know how that file survived, even if I didn't have linux-
restricted-modules-common installed, but pls add a small check in the
python script to delete this file if present, as it will save lot of
time of all affected by this issue.

Thanks
Marco
