Binary package hint: acpid

Fan is not working on Acer 5320 and as a result of that, the laptop turns of. 
Im running a clean install of ubuntu karmic beta with the latest dist-upgrade
This laptop worked just fine with older versions of ubuntu

after grub starts it says the acer 5320 bios is not supported, please
