Binary package hint: kdebase
I am using kubuntu karmic koala, just upgraded from 9.04:
I tried to set the background of the kicker.
system settings -> advanced -> desktop theme details -> modifying panel
background.
Nothing ever happens after apply or relogin. Also, after modifying the the
value (from
the drop down list , say from Air to Oxygen panel background) after pressing
the appy button, a somewhat misleading box appears with this text: to change
the desktop theme to "(Customized)" open the desktop apperarance settings and
select "(Customized)" from the dropdown list ?!?!?
