I forgot to mention the Linux power-off bug with the notebook: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8549 Besides the power-off issue, suspend to disk always worked fine. Since the upgrade 9.04 -> 9.10 I get the crash reported here almost every time after resume.
