Same here. Just upgraded. Downloaded the scan data. But still unable to scan channels. Buttons grayed out as described by last poster.
My card is a LifeView Duo (Philips Semiconductors SAA7131/SAA7133/SAA7135 Video Broadcast Decoder). It has worked perfectly since Gutsy. -- I can't scan for new dvb-t channels.
