>From the point of view of translation, it would be quite useful to have a single document where the description of the license of the documentation can be translated and reused. The current approach is to have the text describing the license and the copyright verbatim in each single document, which implies that for every document, the same strings have to be translated all over again. This would be a similar approach to what GNOME does for the translation of the GPL/LGPL in applications: there is a separate module for translations of those licenses, which can be then reused in all apps. I haven't looked at how technically feasible that would be, but I assume that this document could then be simply included in all documents.
