Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: bash
creating a .bash_aliases file, all aliases are read but stored with a
terminating '0d' hex code (<cr>) that prevents the aliases from
expanding correctly. None of the aliases work when read from this file.
Typing manually works, but only for that session.
