  Following update to latest Feisty kernel (2.6.20-8) my root partition
  fails to mount during boot. Kernel 2.6.20-6 works, noacpi does not help.
  Root is an ext3 partition on sda2. SATA harddrive is plugged into port 1
  of i965 controller on an ASUS P5B VM.
