My Power Management Preferences are set to Suspend on AC power and
Hibernate on battery power.
The problem happens when I close my laptop lid while it is plugged in
and then unplug my computer. When I reopen the lid, it briefly comes
fully awake, but then moves to Hibernate. From there, I can hit the
power button to reboot into my saved state. It appears to stay in
Suspend while the lid is closed.
Please let me know if you need further clarification. I used ubuntu-bug
linux from the command line and hope you have received all of my
relevant technical information.
