** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: compizconfig-settings-manager

  n...@whatevah:~$ lsb_release -d
  Description: Ubuntu 9.10

  n...@whatevah:~$ ccsm -v
  CCSM 0.8.2

  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. CCSM > Window Management (section) > Resize Window (button) > bindings
(tab)
  2. Set a mouse binding for "Initiate Window Resize" (I used alt-button2
aka: alt-middle)
  3. Be aware that "alt-button3" will pop up a window menu, just about no
matter what that's set to.
  4. Try to resize a window. Usage: imagine a 3x3 grid in your current
window... Drag any of the 3x3 grid outer boxes to resize the window. So,
alt-button2 drag near a corner basically. Notice the window resize by 1px.
  5. The resize operation happens "on-mouse-up" instead of "on-mouse-down"

ADDITIONALLY: If button3 is involved with keyboard modifiers, it seems to
only deliver a window menu:
  1. Set mouse binding for "Initiate Window Resize" ... use Shift-Alt-Button3.
- 2. Use that binding, and get a Window Menu. Same for
Ctrl-Shift-Alt-Button3, Ctrl-Alt-Button3, etc.
- 3. Possibly related to another bug, cannot change mouse binding for CCSM >
General Options > Bindings > Window Menu.
+ 2. Use that binding, and get a Window Menu. Same for
Ctrl-Shift-Alt-Button3, Ctrl-Alt-Button3, etc.
+ 3. Possibly related to another bug, cannot change mouse binding for CCSM >
General Options > Bindings > Window Menu...
+ 4. Please also see

[karmic] "initiate window resize" mouse binding only resizes 1x1 pixel maximum;
resizes on mouse-up instead of while dragging.
