Public bug reported:
In previous Ubuntu versions (definitely on 9.04), I could use the Home
key on my Aspire One to Show Desktop - if memory serves, it mapped to
Super-L, which could be used as a single-key shortcut. In 9.10 beta,
however, it no longer works like this. Instead, it's now mapped to Mod4
by default, which cannot be used as a single-key shortcut but only in
combination.
>From previous bugs, it looks like this is a deliberate decision in order
to solve problems people had with other keyboards. However, from the PoV
of someone on a netbook running UNR, this is a problem. Is there any way
to force the key to operate as a standalone shortcut? None of the
options in Keyboard -> Layout -> Layout Options seem to help.
