lspci
00:10.0 Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt848 Video
Capture (rev 12)
is a AverMedia TVphone. Is NOT a TVphone 98.
it is possible to make video work manually:
sudo rmmod bttv
sudo rmmod tuner
sudo modprobe bttv card=6 tuner=2
This makes the video work and changes channels ok.
However there is not sound.
dmesg | grep audio
bttv0: audio absent, no audio device found!
This:
modprobe -r snd-bt87x; modprobe snd-bt87x load_all=1
dont fix it. Module loads but there is not in cat /proc/asound/cards.
