Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
OpenOffice Word loads normally and behaves normally, except that when
typing a new document will cause itself and the rest of the system to
hang. The first attempt froze the entire system, including the mouse
cursor. Second and third hangs left the cursor active, but nothing
responded to clicks. Strangely, right-click still worked on gkrellm,
but nothing else on the screen would instantiate. It was as if the
whole 'X' system had malfunctioned.
The 1st page of the document is about 2/3 full when the hang occurs.
After three attempts to create the document and experiencing the crash
and associated reboot of the system, I gave up.
