Binary package hint: gnome-session
I made the mistake of clicking the "Remember Currently Running
Applications" button, and now each time I restart gedit come up like a
startup application. The documentation says behavior is not supposed to
persist for more than one reboot, but for me it happens every time.
Quote (from click the "help" button):
"The session manager can remember which applications you have running when you
log out and can automatically restart them when you log in again. If you would
like this to happen every time you log out, check Automatically remember
running applications when logging out. If you would like this to happen only
once, click Remember Currently Running Application before logging out."
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 64bit Beta.
