Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Somehow, my battery monitor and network manager applets are missing from
my top-right panel.
If I right-click on the panel, and click "Add to Panel", those applet
are not in the list of addable applets.
Furthermore, System > Preferences > Network Connections provides no
settings for adding Network Manger applet to the top-right panel.
Also, System > Preferences > Power Management provides no settings for
adding "Battery Monitor" to the top-right panel.
I have discovered no intuitive way to remedy this problem.
