Binary package hint: inkscape
I start inkscape from a terminal, click the text tool and click on the
page. I enter "a" and it apears where it should but as soon as I click
anywhere else I get:

The resulting SVG file looks fine to me and I can edit it. I can't add
text without getting the same crash, though.
