This is still happening as of Tue Oct 27 18:30:24 UTC 2009. A bit of kern.log:

However, I am able to use a Netgear WG511T wifi card in the PC slot under both 9.04 and 8.04.3 LTS Ubuntu. If this is not fixed by release date, I will revert to installing one of those two versions of Ubuntu, and await alphas and betas of 10.04 before attempting to install later versions. This is a very serious problem. -- PC slot unsupported, and any "cardbus cards are not supported" messages running Karmic on Averatec 3280 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/436341 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
