Hi Matthias,
We have a fix we're testing for the original issue of not being able to
connect without using NetworkManager. I'm marking this bug as a
duplicate of the one we're tracking the fix on.
If you are having other issues, please file a separate bug by right-
clicking on the Ubuntu One client and select "Report a Problem".
