Public bug reported: Binary package hint: upstart
A partition on my machine hit the point where it had been mounted so many times it needed to be fsck'd even though it's journaled. The boot process saw this and started running the fsck. However, it also failed to deal with this properly and kept right on booting while the fsck was going on. I have gdm set to auto-login, and it did that too, even though some of my startup files are located on the disk that was not yet mounted. This caused... problems. ** Affects: upstart (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- system keeps booting even though partition is being fsck'd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/462374 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
