Public bug reported:

release: 9.10

I am on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L1310G. WLAN has worked very well in all
releases (since 8.04), but suddenly in 9.10 it stopped working.

I rigth-click on the network icon and choose enable wireless. After a
while , I check, but the checkbox at enable wireless has not become
checked. The LED on the Amilo for wireless is not on and pressing the
button to turn it on does not work, but this has not stopped wireless
from working in the other distributions.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
