Considering kubuntu 9.04 had this same bug, I consider this a shame. I
can't accept any kind of workaround. If you are so serious about that
stupid workaround, then be coherent. Kubuntu should install gnome
network manager by default. Instead no they don't.
Now if one is a newbie, how on earth could you explain to him why in
year 2009, his fresh new operating system can't connect to a wireless.
Are we serious? Is canonical serious? Is the kubuntu team serious?
Now when someone makes fun of Microsoft saying they never fix bugs or
fix them with big delays, I'll be sure to tell them Ubuntu and Canonical
are the same.
A shame.
