More exactly the behavior is:

If the string is #/bin/bash  (no ! ) the script is still executable from
a terminal or even from the "Run" button in Nautilus, but if I press the
"show" button Gedit is not opened, but neither the script is executed.

If the string is #bin/bash  (no !/ ) when I press the "Show" button the
script is opened in Gedit as a text file.

if I put various # (i.e.: ############!/bin/bash) or spaces (i.e.: #
!/bin/bash) when I press the "Show" button the sript is executed
