** Description changed: Binary package hint: xorg When I have a second monitor attached, and turn off that monitor in preferences, everything starts drawing on the screen _very_ slowly (though X is not frozen). I SSHd into my laptop and ran top to see if any processes were consuming lots of CPU power, but everything looked normal there. If I open up TTY1, the performance in X stays crappy, but if I open up TTY1 _and_ log in there, the performance returns to normal.
