Public bug reported:

If a bug report is generated automatically, often because of a failure by some
support program an average user doesn't even know it existed, Launchpad should
accept the report "as is".
As a user, I am asked if the bug is one from a list of earlier reports. Sorry
guys, I do not know. Your automated bug tracker does. Why are you asking me?
The only additional information I would be able to give is an answer to the
question "What were you doing when the bug appeared?" But even this question
should have a checkbox or radio button labeled "I don't know".

Maybe this is just a paper cut. But these unanswerable questions make me
reluctant to send anymore bug reports. And that is not the idea of
community software and Launchpad, is it?
