Well I've blacklisted rt2800usb and tried to manuall unload it.  I've
also added rt2870sta to /etc/modules but I still don't have a wireless
connection.  Below are the relevant bits from dmesg, lsusb and iwconfig
for my setup:

dmesg:

eth0      no wireless extensions.

What's interesting is that 9.10 beta gave me a wlan0 entry in network
manager (although I couldn't get it working).  Now I don't have
anything.
