Running on board 5.1 surround sound on an Intel DG965WH mother board. I
have no sound after upgrade to 9.10 and the volume aplette does not
control the volume.

CheckboxData: Only showing "dummy output Stereo" for devices. I have an Intel 
DG965WH Mother board with onboard 5.1 surround sound. Volume controls do not 
control volume. I do have audio outh through Amrock but no volume control 
besides my remote volume.
CheckboxDescription:
 Open the volume control application by right-clicking on the speaker icon in 
the panel and selecting "Sound Preferences".  Select the "Input" tab and choose 
any alternate (non-default) device(s).  Select the "Output" tab and choose any 
alternate (non-default) device(s).  When you are done, click the Test button, 
then speak into the microphone. After a few seconds, your speech will be played 
back to you.
