Binary package hint: audacious-plugins
audacious 2.1-1ubuntu1
Choosing "Plugin Services->Play CD" from the menu with an audio cd in
the drive causes audacious to hang, with no out-of-the-ordinary messages
printed to stdout. The seemingly-equivalent 3-step process of clearing
the playlist, choosing "Add CD" and then pressing play works fine.
