Got the same problem here with my 1320. I reported it with the beta
version and hoped it might have been cured for the release - no such
luck! There has to be a point during boot up where the system check the
status of the switch which means that we poor dell users should be able
to change it so it reads the status of the switch in reverse. Perhaps
the OS checks the type of machine it is running on and could do that
automatically for vostros? Unfortunately I don't know my way around the
inside of  Ubuntu yet, so any boffins out there got any ideas?
