I installed today Karmic Final but in Jaunty i have the same problem. I have a Packard Bell EasyNote MX65, with Inter Pro Wireless 3945BG.
I use knetwork manager, but only find WEP access points. With Wicd find all networks, but i can't connect with WEP or WPA networks.
