I'm seeing a very similar problem on a Dell D531. Loaded Ubuntu 9.10 no problems, connected via cable OK, did updates, then installed third party wireless driver. When I tried to connect to my home wireless, I was able to see it, put in the WPA keycode and then the computer just hung - had to reset to get back into Ubuntu. Cabled now to write this with no problem, but can't get the wireless to work?
