First of this is not just a problem with MPD. I used MPD in my example
because its what i use for music. But I get the problem with VLC, flash
video, amarok skype. My sound works on a first come first serve basis.
Hence the first device to use sound use it exclusive of any other device
(even the system sound) I am watching a video with VLC no other
application would be able to play sound. Amarok, flash video, Skype
call, even MPD none would work.
anyway I decided to paste the way sound is configured on mpd
