Kunal, do you know of a bug report for the NM issue? The only one I can find is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network- manager/+bug/373680 The network connection dropouts are more than a "perceived" loss for me - all web pages hang for 20-30 seconds and Skype calls drop.
