Public bug reported:

I've just completed a full install on a blank hard disk of 9.1. No
errors were reported during install. But when I reboot I receive the
following error message:

error: no such device: 13f6fd08-0478-494c-bf84-79b2612825d3

press any key to continue...

I press the key but the error just keeps coming up with no hint as to what to
do! It never gets to desktop. the GNU GRUB version 1.97~beta4 screen comes up
with 4 choices:
Ubuntu, Linux 2.6.31-14-generic, or recovery mode
or
Memory test.
It also gives me the option of typing an 'e' to edits the commands before
booting or a 'c' to go to a command line.
Without more clues, I wouldn't dare use these options.

Any help of a rapid nature would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
