I'm going to confirm this. The Audigy Analog/Digital Output Jack is
disabled by default. It used to be enabled by default on previous Ubuntu
releases. I couldn't find any options for this in the Sound preferences
or in alsamixer, or if there is a setting it's not very obvious. I had
to install gnome-alsamixer to find the check box for the Audigy
Analog/Digital Output Jack.
