I've got the same problem with Karmic. It shows a 500GB LVM volume in my nautilus view and "Places" menu which doesn't respond to my passphrase. The system works normally and was upgraded from a Jaunty install which I set up with the Alternate CD and encrypted LVM volumes. Peculiarly it doesn't even show up in the gvfs-mount list:
System function normal, cryptsetup message and passphrase prompt during boot as usual and functional. 412XPC[maggus]:~ $ gvfs-mount -li Volume(0): cdrom0 Type: GUnixVolume ids: unix-device: '/dev/scd0' themed icons: [drive-optical] [drive] can_mount=1 can_eject=1 should_automount=1 -- nautilus is showing my encrypted lvm volume in the side pane https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/465802 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
