Public bug reported:
I've upgraded my Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) to 9.10 (Karmic). After upgrade completed
the system required a reboot which I did. Upon boot I was presented with a
white Ubuntu logo and the received the following message:
"Mount of root filesystem failed"
I'm allowed to enter a password for maintenance or press Cntl-D to
reboot. I'm very new to Linux and do not know my way around it. If I'm
not presented with a GUI I'm lost...
Managed to report the bug using Ubuntu 8.1 Live CD to boot.
HELP!
