Public bug reported:

I have the following audio device:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition
Audio Controller (rev 02)

No audio at all. Besides, on System / Preferences / Sound, the system
does not show anything on the Hardware tab.

So please do anything in order to keep on supporting Ubuntu. This audio
