I had a Virtual XP running under VitualBox and I click 'preferences'
under 'File' in the main VirtualBox program. This killed the x server
and brought up stage 1, so i pressed cntrl alt F7 to recover the xserver
which brought me to the login screen. I then loged in and sent the error
reprot
