Hibernate works perfectly for me. Suspend, does not. Toshiba A305-6898 I had the same problem on Jaunty, so I held out hoping it would go away with Karmic, but no dice.
Doing some searching, it sounds like the power button is supposed to flash when in suspend mode. That doesn't happen. Everything seems to shut down (fans, lights, everything). When I power the system back up, my screen never powers up. The lights on the laptop turn on (power, volume, etc), but nothing is responsive (pressing the mute button does nothing where it normally flashes, and the caps-lock, scroll-lock, and num-lock do nothing). At the beginning the hard drive light flashes once, but that's the only sign that it was trying to do something. Have to manually re-boot the system. -- Resuming from suspend fails on Toshiba Satellite L305-S5921 laptop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/352106 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
