Public bug reported:
Computer hang at resume from standby. Monitor remained black and
backlight switched off. However, ubuntu itself didn't seem to be
completely frozen: i could Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Enter and the machine hard-
rebooted...
This problem already was present in the previous Jaunty release with
every kernel.
Hibernating, however, works just fine.

Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from
resuming properly. The resume processing hung very near the end and will have
appeared to have completed normally.
