I'm not sure what you mean by that, but in alsamixer no in- or output
setting will enable the internal microphone. Changing the microphone
selector in alsamixer to internal also doesn't disable the external
microphone. I have a feeling the internal microphone gets (should get)
activated by a switch in the microphone jack and this switch is not
detected/sensed. Regrettably I know no way to verify this 'feeling'.
