It looks like the actual MythTV Frontend screen has been offset by XFCE.
If after restarting the frontend application you start up the Screen
Setup Wizard the base starting point is below the XFCE menu.

Enabling Autohide in the XFCE panel settings will fix this, but it
doesn't feel like it is the correct solution, especially if you are only
trying to adjust the width of the GUI due to overscan.
