I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala (kernel version 2.6.31-14-generic) on
A*Note Centurion notebook. I installed it yesterday Just after the
installation, everything work fine (including the sound). But this afternoon, I
unable to hear any sound. I have switch the volume into maximum, but it still
doesn't work.
I don't know if this might help you to solve the problem, but in Terminal, I
type the following command: apt-cache policy alsa. And the output is:
