This may be related to the errors people are getting with the sun- java5-jre package and azureus and other java apps on edgy (dapper works fine in this area). I have also tested this with sun-java6-jre from backports and I always get:
# Problematic frame: # C [libglibjni-0.4.so+0x8d02] which is in the libglib-java package. This is testing with these packages: azureus: 2.5.0.0repack1-0ubuntu0.6.10~proposed1 sun-java5-jre: 1.5.0-08-0ubuntu1 sun-java6-jre: 6-00-0ubuntu1~edgy1 Seeing that the same error happens with two versions of JVM, it is likely not a problem in the JVM.
