Hardware issues are some of the hardest things to diagnose.  Probably
the easiest method is to format the drive (be sure to back up your files
onto a separate device) and reinstall.  If the error persists, then it
is likely a hardware issue.  If not, then it was likely a faulty
install.  How feasible this is for you is dependent upon your skill
level and how complicated your computer setup is.
