I've tried the following: - Compile grub2 (in Ubuntu 9.04) using x86_64 with modules: acpi, boot, chain, configfile, ext2, fat, hfsplus, normal, part_gpt, sh - Using kernel 2.6.28-16-generic - Using NVIDIA drivers 173 - Using the posted grub.cfg updated to the above kernel version
rEFIt loads grub2 and from there I get (I think) all the way to X starting (it doesn't), at which point everything freezes.
