Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

Notification Area 2.28.0 has an error (UBUNTU 9.10)

The network icon changes to volume every time I login my system.
When I move the icon changes to some other icon say for eg: logon button.
I am not able to select that button.

I also tried removing Notification Area 2.28.0 from panel and adding
again the problem still continues when i log in

It was working perfectly before updating to 9.10(Karamic) I used
9.04(Jaunty).

Temporary solution I follow:
sudo killall gnome-panel
