Hi Colin, Thanks for your help. I performed exactly what you proposed, (just added "save" after I changed the default setting), and unfortunately, the problem remains the same. This time, the mouse doesn't even move on black screen. I'll be quiet for the next 3 days as I will be traveling. Thanks to let me know if anything else can be tried!
