This is exactly my opinion Jonathan!

In Germany it's the Router of the Provider "Alice" which has this issue.
And i think it could be, that it maybe not talking in the correct
standard way but it worked in Hardy and Intrepid and where is the use of
forcing standard behaviour and killing functionality?

Everyone here is posting "reasons" and "workarounds" but that's not the
point. That's exactly the point why all this windows-user guys say
"Linux is to complicated". In an Operating System called "Ubuntu" (we
all now what the name means and what it stands for) which aims to be an
OS for every user it is absolutely impossible to accept "workarounds".
And all this worked fine in the last versions.
